This past weekend was the down town DeKalb Holly Days Christmas walk. We had SO MUCH FUN! The store was bustling with shoppers, holiday music, cookies & goodies! Many of our beloved customers from the very begining of Carter's Cottage were there along with new ones too.It has been so heartwarming for me to see all the families & smiles, and hear of the fond memories a little treasure from our shop brings to our customers. I hope we have many more opportunities to share these moments!

Hi! I was in on Sunday to get some chalk paint. The staff answered all my questions and I was excited to get started. I pulled the chairs I was painting into the family room so I could refinish them while watching the Bears game. The chairs look great wearing Duck Egg Blue. The table gets its coat of Old White tomorrow ... Just in time for Thanksgiving. I picked up some of those blue star ornaments too. I'll be back ... The staff is wonderful and so helpful.
